impromtu barbacue/picnic at saints tomorrow

last minute decision, the dogs want a party....the more the merrier, 1pm so feel free to join us.
lynn is bringing hamburgers and buns...i am bringing potato salad and watermelon...i don't know who else is bringing what but i bet it will be very good.
sarah is all shaved down, angelina found the working clippers and started right in as soon as she arrived this morning....she looks like a very sweet shaved dog. tawnie has a vet appointment on monday but we already started her on abx for her skin infection...they had their first field run and (quite a few) ice cream sandwiches and sarah has already learned to jump out the window (self actualizing dogs do not let windows stand in their way when they are stuck in the house and you are in plain view in the front yard.) tawnie has been sleeping most of the day, she really is not feeling 100% yet and has been busy since she arrived so very smart girl that she is has headed to bed to rest and recoup.
i am feeling better today...all is well (or well on the way) with the crippled beloved crew. jesse's new personal yard construction starts on monday and then the americats outside porch is right behind. oka played with pretty much anything worth playing with and got to share a corona with mo. instead of the mp room this afternoon, we retired to the memorial garden...cole had a nap, nola bugged boo-ka (L&L sp???), oka drank beer, phoebe gave kisses and the rest of us just relaxed enjoying the view.
sometimes it is so beautiful here it takes your breath away.
