nibble, shop + train: a fundraiser for you + your dog!
thursday, july 24 @ 6:30-8:30 pm

Finally, a fundraiser you and your doggie can support together!

nibble. Join us for a glass or two of local wine, and yummy snacks for you and your pooch!

shop. As you nibble, browse through bwh’s selection of the cool gear for your dog and shop guilt-free knowing that 10% of total sales will be donated to our charity. Also, you’ll get a bwh store credit for a future visit for the same amount!

train. Our exceptional dog trainers will lead the dogs through an hour-long introductory (or refresher!) class on urban street smarts. Participants will get useful tips and coaching on heeling dogs through crowds, politely meeting and greeting other dogs and people, ignoring distractions, and much more. The class will end back at bwh with an opportunity to ask the trainers questions about your doggie, and book complimentary training consultations with our trainers.

the cause. in addition to a fun + informative evening, we’re proud to support the Senior Animals in Need Today Society (SAINTS), a local animal rescue organization dedicated to providing cozy, loving homes for senior animals. Established in 2004, SAINTS has provided a caring home to 150+ animals. Our donations will contribute to purchasing toys, treats, food, warm clothing and beds, as well as to their veterinary care to help ensure that their last years are spent in comfort. On this evening, we will also gratefully accept your donations of used toys, dog clothing, beds, bowls, fleece blankets in good condition for SAINTS.

Participation in the training class by donation to SAINTS (suggested donation $10). The class is not appropriate for dogs with aggression or severe behavioural issues nor for very young puppies.

Join us for the nibble & shop portion of the evening, even if you’re not able to join us with your pooch! We’re looking forward to a fun night, raising lots of money to support an amazing charity.
