wow...what an incredible day

Carol  ·  Sep. 14, 2008

we can't even guess how many people toured thru but there was ALOT! from 11 am with the very first tour til just after 4 pm when the last tour was done..there was not a single break of groups coming thru. i met so many very nice people and saw from a distance some well known and loved that i never even got much of a chance to talk to and so many others that i never even met...like...whoever put fresh flowers in water next to all the names of our beloved past ones in the memorial garden...that touched me to the very core...from all of them i truly thank you. the dogs are totally exhausted and so are all of the volunteers but what a great way to be bone tired and weary, sharing the place we all love best in the world.

so to everyone who came to share our world here today and to all of the volunteers who have worked so very hard...the saints and i are most grateful for one of the best days of all of our lives.

We all love you and the animals, Carol. I am sorry I am too far away to get to the open house

I really enjoyed my day at Saints and I was the one who brought the flowers. The carnations should last for quite a few days, just sorry that I didn't have a bigger container for them. I just wanted to bring them on my first visit to the Memorial Garden, in honor of all the previous Saints especially Bill, Michael and Tom.
Bye the way, I did find my lens cap for my camera.
