Neapolitan and SAINTS ( Senior Animals In Need Today) are merging our respsective projects to bring you our first ( soon to be annual) Christmas fundraiser.
Neapolitan is an art gallery and retail store located on Main Street, featuring the work of numerous Vancouver screenprint artists. Having been open a few months, the store has already been incredibly successful, featuring both prints and garments, and continues to bring in the work of local artists every day.
SAINTS is an end-of-life sanctuary for senior and special needs animals that have nowhere else to go. The only organization of its kind in BC, the sanctuary currently cares for over 100 animals that live both at SAINTS and in foster care.
The concept: local designers create limited edition garments, inspired by the animals of SAINTS, the work that we do, or the organization as a whole. The garments will debut on December 20th, and will be sold in Neapolitan until the middle of January.
Featuring the work of (more artists to be announced soon):
Cheylene Tattersall, Chris Williams, Daniel Gruetter, David Aitken, Karl Schiffmacher, Legobomb, Mark Hall-Patch, Michael Doehle, Phillip Materna, Shelly McDonald
On the night of the 20th, all sales from the SAINTS garments and half of alcohol sales will go to the organization. We will also be accepting donations for SAINTS.
