except for the pissing down rain...

Carol  ·  Oct. 9, 2010

barn bedtime went off without a bump...i temporarily lost edith but i did eventually find her again out in plain view. i was dripping wet by the end of it all so i stopped in to dry off and visit with frodo in the shop for a few minutes before moving on to the mp building. all went well in the mp building..the medical cats still had a ton of food left so i did not have to feed them again.

dorothy is contently fast asleep curled up in the easy chair...she managed the steps we put out to help her get up if she wanted and wilson is on the top of the cat post hopefully waiting for a new friend to wander by and spend some time with him.

NOTHING makes me happier than two brand new, should be totally freaked out cats, obviously so pleased and content with their brand new home. sadly this probably means they have never had it so good (...not that a sanctuary holding pen is all that great but it must be a ton better than whatever they are used to).... anyway, it makes my life so much easier if they immediately like it here..... new upset cats are a real worry..new happy cats are simply a joy.
so glad we were able to help them....it does feel good.

and it is nice to be back in the house early on a pissing down wet and rainy night..the fireplaces are warm but not too hot and the flames also feel warm and friendly tonight.....a whole entire day of nice (even in crappy weather) is good.

i am feeling mighty content myself tonight.
