The Kullars-a fostering family

Jenn  ·  Aug. 8, 2011

There is a fantastic article in the Vancouver Sun by Lauryn Hayden about Sheila and Leila Kullar (two of our great volunteers at SAINTS). Sheila and Leila are instrumental on our fundraising committee and are central to our biggest event: the Wishes 4 Whiskers Annual Gala event. They are also a wonderful home to saints Scrappy and Lotus (2 special needs cats).

The Sun article highlights their foster/volunteer work with the BC SPCA. These two ladies are amazing and we are so lucky to have them on our team. You can read the article here online: http://www2.canada.com/theprovince/news/etoday/story.html?id=9d32744f-6bc1-46c0-8537-65d3c4dce564

OH! AND..they have fostered and found homes for a bunch of under socialized, terrified of humans puppies for saints too...hmmm...the little tiny shep crosses from the spca...the pit bull cross pups from that idiot brainless dork head...sad and terrified cali who showed up here late one day via one of our volunteers who saved her from under a car (and whose litter mate, we found out later (poor, poor babe!)... died after arriving at the pound from being viciously kicked in the abdomen by some loser..his penis was ruptured)...and that sketchy beautiful aussie cross pup too...way to go sheila and leila!
