caroline was euthanized today

Carol  ·  Feb. 23, 2012

i really felt that life had just become an unhappy burden for her.

caroline came in a couple of years ago, she was very old and very arthritic when she came. she had been living with two llamas in maple ridge who were her best friends but one night they were killed by a cougar. caroline hid in the shed during the attack and from that point on was afraid to ever venture out again. our sheep shearer asked if she could come here, he felt so badly for her living alone and afraid in that shed.

rest in peace now sweet caroline, you were a very strong and good hearted sheep and i hope you find your good friends in safe and green pastures again.

Caroline, your presence will be missed. When you came out to the loafing shed on my warrior Sundays I always wanted to ensure you could gain easy access to the hay and that you had some soft bedding to rest your weary body. I'm glad you found your way to Saints. Rest in Peace Sweet Girl

Sweet Caroline ( Neil Diamond )

Where it began, I can't begin to knowing
But then I know it's growing strong
Was in the spring
Then spring became the summer
Who'd have believed you'd come along

Hands, touching hands
Reaching out, touching me, touching you

Sweet Caroline
Good times never seemed so good
I'd be inclined
To believe they never would
Oh no, no

Look at the night and it don't seem so lonely
We filled it up with only two
And when I hurt
Hurting runs off my shoulder
How can I hurt when I'm holding you

One, touching one
Reaching out, touching me, touching you

RIP Sweet Caroline , we will miss you & your shaggy face
