it was great!!! and jenn was beautiful!!!!

just a really important update for the weekend folks...

we had a very bad incident with lance this morning. he went over the fences and into the upper field and took down Elizabeth (our sheep.) he went for the hamstring and then straight for the neck so unfortunately he knew exactly how to take a sheep down quickly. she is injured with deep bites to her hamstring, butt and both sides of her neck and has been seen by the vet and should recover from this with treatment. luckily I saw him do it or it could have been a lot worse.

this makes lance a very dangerous dog here because the fences can't confine him.

I am not sure what I am going to do at this point to keep the barn guys safe. but I will be thinking on it over the next few days.

in any case...

it is absolutely critical that lance is to be locked inside the big dog room at all times and only outside on a leash until I am done thinking on this. there is no room for any mistakes.

it has been a horrible barn week between wilbur, charlotte, brad, Gideon and now lance and Elizabeth.
I knew lance was a pain in the ass but I just did not see the prey driven thing.
life is currently sucking at saints.

Hello Carol,
Panicked sled dogs we know a lot about. We still have 5 non-adoptable sanctuary sled dogs of the original 54. Stan and I may have an idea to share with you. Sincerely, Yvette and Stan.
