Ellie is a 5 month of yorkshire farm pig. she should have gone to slaughter as a weiner pig at about 4 months of age. someone socialized her and made her a pet and then they moved and couldn't keep her. they tried to find her a home that wouldn't eat her but there are not alot of pet homes for 700 pound grown up pigs so they dumped her at the SPCA and there, ellie had a complete and total meltdown. The SPCA did not have the farm animal contract for the municipality so the city called and asked her to come to saints. ellie is very happy here, percy is her best friend. ellie has the intelligence and understanding of an 8 yr old child, she can actually understand alot of the human language. she is quite an amazing pig. (i suspect all pigs are amazing, we just never got to know them enough to find out before ellie came)
