Joy wasn't the cow we were looking for when we made the mistake of going to the auction to find Percy a new friend. But there were no older cows as the auction so we chose Joy. Percy had been mourning the loss of Spot. When Joy et al. arrived from transport, they were instant friends.
She has also been a fantastic foster mom to Emily who was a day old calf when we brought her home from the auction.
Joy's not quite as outgoing as Percy, but I doubt any other cow could be, but she is sweet and lovely and completes the SAINTS bovine family. |
