Dusty is around 8 years old. She came to SAINTS from Chilliwack, originally temporary until another more appropriate rescue could be found to take care of her and her then uncontrolled diabetes. She is now a fullfledged SAINTS as no other rescues would take her.
She came in blind and had uncontrolled diabetes. She was quite thin.
Many months later, she is still blind, but her diabetes in undercontrol and she has gained plenty of weight (and then some!).
Dusty is a very sweet girl, but she is quite afraid of new men and can be selective with dogs. When she first came to SAINTS her and blind Lucky had a full on hate relationship going. But they have since learned to live with each other in peace in the MP room.
