When our animals reach the end of their natural lives and we are no longer able to keep them comfortable and happy, we gently help them to pass from this world to the next.

We have a wonderful team of vets who come to the sanctuary and care for our animals in their final home. It is our last gift to them to allow them to leave this world in peace and free from fear.

Once an animal passes, we hang a chime in memory of them on our wind chime tree. Since our beginning in early December of 2004, we have lost one hundred and fifty-three of our special friends.

We can still hear their music when the breeze blows and the other animals are playing in the fields. It reminds us that part of life is loss but once a friend has touched your soul, it is forever.
