Terrier - Young - Male
Adoptable Small Spayed/NeuteredUp-to-date with routine shotshousetrainedSpecial Needs

Pete is only two years old. He lives at S.A.I.N.T.S., a sanctuary for senior and special needs animals. Pete has congenital spinal deformities, which can cause intermittent pain if he moves the wrong way. Pete has bitten a child when the child tried to pick him up, so we are recommending no young children in the home. Pete is very friendly, his bite reaction was due to pain, he has never shown any aggression otherwise. He can be easily picked up and carried, in a way as to not aggravate his spine. Pete is fun! He loves to run and play, he would love having a dog friend in his new home! Everyone is a friend for Pete, which includes cats, whether or not they want to be friends with him. He has a tendency to chase cats in order to get them to play, many cats do not find this amusing. Pete takes medication daily to keep his pain under control. This spunky little terrier is looking for his forever home. Is it yours? For more information, please email our adoption coordinator at
