since rememberence day is really about our troops....

past and present and not really about SAINTS at all (sigh)...i would like to say that they are the true hero's of this earth. to knowingly risk ones life and wellbeing to right the wrongs that threaten our homes and others far away, is true courage. i grew up surrounded by the Vietnam War, i watched the protests and political wrangling and saw the devastation of lives upon return. I don't imagine WW1 or 2 or all the military conflicts since are much different in the price they demand from our soldiers and their families. and to all of them, now and then and in the future, i say a heartfelt thank you for giving me a world where i am free and able to happily play with a pig or a dog if i so choose or any of the other things that i take for granted. i am grateful and today i do remember who paid the actual cost.
