SHORT VIDEO - DOG, CAT, AND RAT

A friend sent this to me. It is simply wonderful!

This is an amazing video of one of the homeless in Santa Barbara, CA and his pets. They work State Street every week for donations. The animals are pretty well fed and are mellow. They are a family. The man who owns them rigged a harness up for his cat so she wouldn't have to walk so much (like the dog and himself). At some juncture the rat came along, and since no one wanted to eat the other, the rat started riding with the cat and often, on the cat. The dog will stand all day and let you talk to him and admire him for a few chin scratches. The mayor of Santa Barbara filmed this clip and sent it out as a Christmas card.

Thank you Julie. I am forever grateful to Jodi the woman in the vid for allowing me to adopt him. She's my hero as are all you folks at Saints. You make a difference in the lives of each of the animals you help. Thanks for that.

I love that video!!. There is another vid that touched my heart and also leaves one in awe. A feral cat- yes feral! Who apon seeing his saviour places his paws around her and hugs and kisses her. She saved him as he lay dying in a car in the junkyard in Oregon. He survived so the story ends happily. Mickey now lives with me.

I hope you forgive me for hijacking your post but wanted to share his story. I wish all animals could be as lucky to find special people such as all of you at Saints.
