KIMPTON CARES 2009
“Come Over With Rover†– You’re Invited to a Divine Doggy Dinner Party at the Pacific Palisades Hotel

February is Kimpton Cares month, a time of year when each hotel chooses a charity to support. In 2009, the Pacific Palisades Hotel has partnered with SAINTS (Senior Animals In Need Today Society) to assist their ongoing efforts to find loving homes for mature animals. SAINTS is an end-of-life sanctuary for senior and special needs animals that have nowhere else to go. They provide a loving environment and proper medical care for all residents.
Throughout February, the Pacific Palisades Hotel will undertake a variety of activities to raise both awareness and financial aid for these distressed animals in need of a warm hug or nourishing meal. To that end, on Saturday, February 28, Pacific Palisades Hotel and SAINTS invite all pets with their lovingparent(s) to attend a “Divine Doggy Dinner Party†beginning at 5:30 with a welcome reception followed by a sit-down dinner at 6 pm. The evening will conclude by 8 pm with fun and frivolity to be had in between. A set 3-course menu will tantalize pet owners while a smaller 2-course meal for pets will be specially designed by award-winning Chef Karen Gin to make everyone’s nose sit up and take a sniff. Specially
crafted food bowls will be used to serve pets their meal. A nominal gift of $5 to SAINTS will enable you to take your bowl home to use or as a memorable keepsake. 3-course dinner tickets are $40 each and accompanying 2-course dinner tickets are only $10 with all proceeds of pet tickets going to SAINTS. Special beverages will be consumed while pets and parents line up for Pet-icures, pet massages and
fortune tarot readings. Promotional assistance has been generously sponsored by 103.5 QM/FM Radio.

Hey Carol who are you taking to the Divine Doggy Dinner......perhaps a dog that loves to eat...a tough choice between Copper or Susie. We should get a few of us to go with our Saint companions. Though they may want us at our own table...may not be as refined as the city folk and I'm not just talking about our dogs!
