Once again Scotiabank employees are holding another fundraiser for SAINTS. Scotiabank will match all money raised. With all of the new intakes we need this money. So get baking and get ready to get buying.

SAINTS has been entered into the “Pepsi Refresh Everything” contest. It is an exciting campaign to award grants to people, businesses and non-profits throughout all of Canada. Placing in first or second in our category would grant us $25,000 to put towards veterinary bills.

You can VOTE ONCE A DAY EVERYDAY! Yes you have to register to vote, but you just need to type in your First and Last name and email address and create a password. Simple right!

We know that with your support we can win this and continue helping senior and special needs animals. Thanks in advance for all of your help.

Pepsi Refresh Grants are awarded to those organizations that receive the highest number of votes from the public. There will be approximately 300 groups eligible during this voting period and only two winners will be awarded in our category ($25,000). Voting closed December 31, 2010

I like this idea . everyone i know loves chocolate covered almonds. yum

Any interest in adding chocolate bars to the fundraiser or doing one in the new year? Early spring works well around Easter. You can make $1 per box of chocolate covered almonds($30 per case) - a big hit with many people. Chocolate bunnies also a hit. If you buy 50 cases you stand to make a minimum of $1500. A lot of people also give a little "something extra" when buying.Also, you can personalize the boxes for free with Saints' name on it. I e-mailed the info to Carol a while back. The cases sell pretty fast if volunteers can sell at their workplace too.
