this was a huge treat to see them all again.....thank you brigitta!!!

here are some of them before saints began and what they taught me to help me along the way.

truly julie and ogidie taught me that tho it may take years...cats can learn to trust again...aka...rome was not re-built in a day.

Photobucket

Photobucket

sophie and bill taught me that dogs just get better and better with age.

Photobucket

the fruit loops taught me that even freaking cute semi feral kittens can grow up to be unadoptable chronic sprayers that you may be stuck with for the rest of your life so you better learn to love and deal with them anyway cuz they may never move out!

Photobucket

marilla and clover taught me that 2 abused and neglected rabbits who find each other in rescue can teach that even rabbits know that kindness and compassion are meant to be shared.

copper taught me that...

Photobucket

fat little beagles will only wait so long for their food and then....

Photobucket

they will go find their own...BUT....

Photobucket

they will cheerfully help out and do up the dishes after their meal is done.

and finally...
wee hopeful bug taught me that all life, no matter how difficult, can be full of love and joy and every animal deserves a home to be loved and feel joyful in.

Photobucket

the original saints taught me well.
(i miss you guys...well not the fruitloops cuz they are still happily pissing everywhere here.)

Oh sweet Bill..loved him..and Copper the hours of entertaining posts you had from his life..you have it give it to him..never a dull moment..
Wee Hopful Bug..such a wonderful tribute to your rescue.

Carol

yes...they were brother and sister and both eventually died of the same destroyed bowel disease,...romeo died about a year after hopey.

Jenn

haha what a trip down memory lane ... :) Julie was very drooly, Olgidie was an enigma a great friend to Dixie. Sophie and Bill were great and happy dogs. Copper was trouble every second but he was so cute! Wee hopeful bug was so lucky to have found Carol--she was difficult to manage in a family home.

Carol

lol...it was a compilation of names..she came in named hope...some of the volunteers wanted to call her bug or wee bug (i was in this group!) and some wanted wee hope so we compromised and she became wee hopeful bug.

Lori Paul

So happy to finally meet Wee Hopeful Bug, as that is my favourite name of all time!

Emma

Awww Carol, I met all of the above except Sophie. May Saints continue to love those animals that society turfs out for their "issues". We can all learn from animals if we shut up long enough to listen.
