the circle of service

Service: "the action of helping or doing work...."

such a simple and undecorated meaning with two polar opposite sides...the giving and the receiving.

Giving: "freely transfer; hand over....."

Receiving: "be given, presented with....."

in a nutshell...this is saints. we give, the animals take...and in return the animals give and we take. a circle that began with polar opposites and continued until it met along the way and erased the beginning and the end. service became a circle.

Circle: " a perfectly round shape : a line that is curved so that its ends meet and every point on the line is the same distance from the center: a path that goes around a central point...."

and what is the central point?

I guess the central point may be different depending on perspective but for me the central point is goodness and the circles purpose is in fostering and protecting the purity of good.

squares and triangles have points..but circles have purpose.

and that is my deep thought for the day!

Carol, re curtains for your bedroom window, Home Depot sells something that you adhere to the surface of the window that gives it that frosted look. Lets in light but people can't see in and vice versa.
