Helga gives up her entire basement for this yard sale. I went over the day before the event and was blown away by the amount of organizing Helga does all year in anticipation for this sale. And then to have the support of her friends who come out at 6 in the morning to help her set up. Helga was hoping to achieve $2,000 and she went over her goal and raised $2,300.

There are a LOT of people who deserve thanks for making this sale a success. First of all the incredibly generous donors of incredible sale items. You guys rock. And then the bodies who make it all happen - Brenda, Alika, Priscilla, Irene, Theo (brave single male in the bunch), Emma, Dorothy, Emily & and friends (sorry in all the chaos I missed the names). You guys totally rock. And to all the folks who put their dollars down and make our critters happy.
