he had a bad night, unable to settle at all and became quite exhausted by morning. it took everything out of him that he just could not afford to give away. we knew rusty was palliative when he came here so we were prepared for only having him for a short time.
funny how when you care for someone (or sleep with them every night) how quickly the bond is made.
rest in peace little ewokie rusty....you were a sweet and lovely boy, the bed will feel empty without you tonight.
Oh Rusty, Just had a sleepover with you on Saturday night.....and remember the feeling of your body snuggled up beside me. So glad this did not happen when I was there.....but so sorry you had such little time left...not enough cuddle time for sure. Such a sweet , gentle little guy. I will miss you😔
I am so very sorry for all of you out there... so many in such a short time... I remain in awe of all of you for what you are both willing and able to do.
There have been photos of all your recently departed babies except Patrick... is there one of him somewhere that those of us who are a zillion miles away could see?
