a huge shout out to...

one of our vets...Dr. Federici for meeting me at the clinic on a dark rainy night to help a dying young raccoon who had been hit by a car.
real compassion is not reserved for just certain someones, or certain situations or when someone is looking..true compassion steps up to assist with any kind of suffering whenever it can.
he died just as we got to the clinic but thank you so much colleen for meeting us, willing to help him pass.

rest in peace little wild one.

Poor little racoon - so sad. Awesome of Dr. Federici to try and help. At least the little guy didn't die alone on the road in the rain, because two people cared.
