Mission City Record – SAINTS to the rescue.

Virtual Tour

Posted: June 21, 2010 at 11:15 am

(FROM JENN)

We estimate that we had about 300 people visit including the Mayor of mission, a freelance photographer from the Mission Record and about a dozen former saints and saints foster dogs. Also, I know of at least one person who came Saturday and returned again Sunday with some more of her friends so I guess people liked it :). Sunday ended on a great note when a couple donated $600. Yippy!!!

So for those who could not join us and even for those who could, here are some pics I picked from this special but exhausting weekend….

This is the driveway (unfortunately this is NOT a pic from the weekend because there are now some pretty flowers in front of the SAINTS sign)

Come meet the saints

Posted: June 16, 2010 at 9:23 pm

(FROM JENN)

Oh when the saints come marching in …. hmmmm I don’t really know the words.

Oh well, really what I want is for the saints blog readers to come marching down this weekend and get a tour of this incredible sanctuary, meet the saints and our amazing volunteers and supporters. Bring your friends, family, co-workers, neighbours … bring them all!!! Frankly I am worried that this place is gonna be all prettied up with no one to show … there is the soap box derby in mission on saturday and father’s day is sunday … so these things are great but interferring with what I like to call SAINTS DAY(s) … so please come …

I promise to make sure all (well at least most) of the poop is scooped and Kodi only herds other dogs so you don’t need to worry about THAT hehe

happy friday!

lost dog in mission

Posted: November 28, 2008 at 1:37 pm

A classmate of mine’s brother has lost his dog in the mission area (since Tuesday).
He got out of a hole in the fence near the mission dump (dewdney trunk & cardinal).
His name is Duke and is only 10 months old and isn’t used to being outside as he lives in an apartment and was just visiting in Mission. He’s a small framed Husky X about 65 lbs and is quite terrified of everything, he likes other dogs, but will be wary of people.
He normally lives in Maple Ridge near 222nd, so he could be seen that far over.

If found or seen please call Melissa at 604-466-7828.

Posted: May 17, 2008 at 12:48 am

Just a reminder about the fundraiser (which is sold out!!!)
The evening starts at 630pm and is being held at the Bonsor Community Centre at 6550 Bonsor Avenue in Burnaby – beside Metrotown mall.
There are 2 parking lots and there will be signs showing where to go for the fundraiser.

Since Tally was Carol’s dog he didn’t have a webpage, so in case you never had the pleasure of meeting this sweet whale of a dog, here are some photos.
