Take Me Home Tuesdays: Return of the Mac

Posted: June 14, 2011 at 6:06 am

Mac at the pound.

Mac is 10 or 12 years old. He was abandoned living in the bush up north trying to survive on his own for a long time. When the pound found him he was so beaten up they did not think he was worth salvaging. Luckily a rescuer contacted SAINTS rescue and asked us to take him. He was flown down and has since recovered and is a great cat. He gets along great with the other animals and really loves people. He has no heath issues we are aware of and would be a great addition to any home.

to adopt Mac please email

If you are unable to adopt one of our SAINTS’ animals how about sponsoring one or better yet joining the 1000 saints movement. With your support we can continue to help animals like Mac who have no where else to go receive medical care and have a good ending to their lives.

and of course you can always help by voting for S.A.I.N.T.S. Mission, BC Canada in the Petfinder’s Shelter Challenge (only 6 more days of voting, vote once a day).

Also, don’t forget to come by on our 5th Annually Open House June 25 and 26th

Tina is a 14 year old mini poodle. She is house trained and good with both cats and dogs. She was in the same home her whole life but they eventually were unable to care for her and she came to SAINTS rescue. She is a sweet and very loving dog who needs a home where people will be around a lot and she can sleep in their bed and spend lots of time in their loving arms.

Sebastian is a 10 year old cat that was adopted from the SPCA 6 years ago to go live in a hospice facility. This year the hospice could no longer care for him. SAINTS took him because he has been a working cat he deserves a great forever retirement home. He has a chronic cold but is a wonderful, sweet and very affectionate cat. He gets along great with other cats.

Take Me Home Tuesdays: Bambi 1 the Tongue Slinger

Posted: May 24, 2011 at 7:57 am

One of the sweetest dogs at saints. Bambi 1 came from the Chilliwack SPCA. She was a stray and when they got her she was terribly matted and she had to have most of her teeth removed. Now her tongue hangs out. She is a very happy and friendly dog who loves treats and to be kissed and cuddled. Bambi 1 is a lot of fun and has a lot of personality. She would be a great addition to any home.

Take Me Home Tuesday Feature: Tyke

Posted: May 10, 2011 at 6:22 am

Tyke is a great little dog. He is only 5 years old and lost his home with a senior because he was too active and needed a busier home. Tyke loves people and other dogs and would love a home with another dog that he can play with and a family that will include him in everything and let him sleep om the bed.

Tyke can tend to bark too much when he anxious and needs reminding to stop.
