the barn guys don't like my crutches. they sure were eye balling them, but they dealt with it cuz they are good barn animals. julie lee noticed that winston is getting fat (gee that is because since i got hurt, the donkeys are getting fed mash TWO times a day instead of just once in the evening like they are supposed to (ok, so i was high on drugs when i gave the instructions) anyway, there is no way those donkeys are going to give up their morning mash since now they know what everyone else is getting, so we are cutting them down to just a teaser handful in the morning. tunie fish looks good, i gave her FIVE grahams just for being sooooo cute!

i just yelled at maudie who is bitching away non stop at endora for sitting in the bedroom doorway. apparently little miss "i am either deaf or i am not listening to you" maude can hear angry voices cuz she stopped, jumped back over the gate and went to lay down in the kitchen. tyra is grumpy and frustrated tonight, i need to kick someone out of the kitchen so i can pull her in for awhile. the problem is once they discover the kitchen, none of them ever want to leave.

our julie went with me to london drugs and we got almost everything i wanted (forgot the stamps, sigh, WCB wants those forms mailed back and i would like to get a pay cheque) and they sell mik and bread but not margarine (how stupid is that!) plus we had to go to a different pharmacy to get a bath bench, because now i am plotting a plan to have a bath!

and tonight i am really tired, that was an active ( for me) couple of hours, thank god i did the meds earlier!

Carol

that's good, they need the food and janice needed it out. and don't rush, i have someone coming at 11 am to show around so our day is fluid in motion.

Ellen

Carol, I am going to pick up a carload of stuff(food?)for HON to go to SANS before I come out this morning, SANS wants to pick it up from your place this afternoon. Hope that is OK?

Jean

Oops - can't remember how to edit comments - Carol, what we don't have is a reserve bag of alfalfa pellets so you might want to get one of those, though I think we're good until Friday, which was when I figured on checking the supplies again.
There's no reserve pig food either, but tunie's blue container is still just under half full, I think.

Jean

Carol, there are still two senior pellets in the garage - I took into account the bag that John took to the barn yesterday.

The timothy cubes are those huge bags, so the one that we've just finished was one of the two Deb picked up the day you came home - can't remember when that was (a week ago? more?), and we have one more left. Just telling you this in case you don't want to go all the way into MR for the timothy cubes, since FVBS doesn't carry them.
However, FVBS has been out of the woodpellets (cat litter) for a couple of weeks now and don't know when they will be getting more in as the mill isn't providing them at the moment - so you may have to go to MR anyway.

Julie

Carol's going on an outing! heavnes to bunnies! two outings in as many days! and Timmy's samishes to! what next? the pub for garlic shrimp and ceasar salad? this is too much excitement for me. I need to go to bed.

Carol

one bag of senior pellets went out to the barn today and the timothy bin is pretty near empty (i saw julie leaning way in to get it out tonight)...so we will get one llama, one senior, 2 timothy, and the pine litter pellets which we are getting low on, then we should be good for a couple of weeks...oh what will i find to do instead.
thx ellen, is 11 am ok, i want to get the cat room and meds done first? i will buy you lunch, the girls at work gave me tim horton drive thru coupons, oh yay fast food!

Ellen

Soooo, we are going on a little "outing" are we????? lol.
What time shall I be there?

Jean

I bought the senior pellets yesterday, remember? And there should be another bag of sheep feed in the garage still - there should be 2 bags senior pellets, 1 bag timothy cubes, 1 bag sheep food, and one bag chicken feed plus two containers Recovery on the picnic table in the garage. (I was a quartermaster in a former life! LOL). We go through llama tex pretty slowly, so I thought we decided we'd have enough until next supply run. I did check all the supplies Sunday before I went to the supplier.

Carol

i am in the process of sucking ellen into babysitting me in my bid for freedom travels and if i am successful, we will pick up the feed/litter stuff too! (apparently llama and sheep tex are both getting low, and did you get the senior pellets yet, if not we can get those too.) don't worry ellen, the feed store will load up the van for crippled people on crutches. they are very nice. and maybe ian will help us unload.

Jean

I'll be coming over there tomorrow afternoon, Carol, so if you want to email me a list of what you need I can pick stuff up on my way home in the early afternoon and bring it over. Or I can take you shopping between 2 and 3 o'clock if you prefer. (Ian is coming at 3 for a tour and to see how he can help out).
