even empathy runs thin when you are tired.

peluchi was up and down last night, he had a hard time feeling settled. on one of my rescue missions to retrieve him back up from lost on the floor..i stepped in an unseen in the dark, thank god it was little, dog shit.
grhhh….it is so awakening to have to wash ones foot in the middle of the night, it is not something you can do in a half asleep state.

i got my best sleep from 0430 til the alarm went off at 0630…but i am already tired and i haven’t even started today. it is too bad that peluchi just doesn’t know that i would be a far better and kinder and gentler and smarter caregiver if he had just stayed put and let me have a decent nights rest.

oh well….he is a super sweet dog but he has never been the brightest bud on the bed.

Another heads up: research has shown that fabric softener sheets that contain cationic detergents should not be used on pets bedding because they could give pets, especially cats, stomach distress.

I use the natural scent free sheets/softner

I don’t use any fabric softener sheets for humans or animals – as my dr. told me they cause a lot of different allergy symptoms –
